Confusing modes

We are happy with our air conditioner. This is the second one like this that we have bought because we were so happy with the first one. This one however, does not have the room sensor on the remote like our first of this model, which confused us because there was no mention of it not having a sensor in the remote that accompanied it. The settings are confusing to us because they are a little different than the first one we had bought, which is the same model only a couple years older. This one actually doesn't seem to keep the air as cool as our older one, although we have it set a little lower. Overall, we are happy with it but just confused about how it is operating. Hopefully, we can become accustomed to this newer model.

It was a toss up between LG 10,000 btu and Frigidare 8,000 and I chose the Frigidare as I previously owned their base line 5,000btu and while it wasn't an ice box like I personally prefer, it did the job and for many years. I also own their Freezer so I am aware of and used to their quality products and service. I even purchased a 5 year extended warranty at a such a low price, it only made sense to get it. I am content with out put of the 8,000 for a better price. There was a dent in the lower right bottom and little bend in the grills upper right corner (so far hasn't affected performance) and reason for warranty. Hoping to add their Air Quality Hepa filter, but unable to locate one or if it will fit this model

The unit was very easy to install and it has operated flawlessly since I plugged it in. One suggestion would be to make the control panel more visible the gray color font on the white background makes it very hard to see. It wouldn't hurt to make that remote a little bigger as well.

Purchased this air conditioner in Sept 2024, just took out of the box and put in the window last week. It ran effectively for about 2 days. Then a loud Buzzer sound (like a sporting event). Called Customer Service on 6/20, they set up an appointment for repair with EraLux for the next day. No one showed up, I called a few times and finally spoke with someone at the repair company today, they do not repair Air conditioners. Called Frigidaire again today, now it may be 3 more days to find someone in my area that can make the repair. Worst customer service. We have had many Frigidaire AC's that have lasted for years, guess they don't make them like they used to.

This is my 2nd Frigidaire air conditioner, I have the (lower BTU) 8-year precursor to this model. Am pretty happy with it; igood design, aesthetically-pleasing, quiet enough. My only disappointment: the remote is ugly, bulky; it looks like a design from the 1970s, and there's no way to turn off the beep response (not fun for late nights). But overal,l all is well.

The wall AC unit was delivered to an incorrect address. It was shipped back to the sender, which was Frigidaire.. When I realize that this had happened, I was trying to contact Customer Service since 10 March we are 11 March and finally got a hold of a real person who listened and acted promptly. Just replaced a previous non Frigidaire AC with new Frigidaire. New AC is working very well. Plenty of cold air and the fans are much quieter than the previous AC. So far I am very satisfied with it. Temperature outside is between 90 and 100. So far no problem handling that kind of heat and humidity.
