Poirier's provides fast delivery and great service.  This service include the following:

  1. Standard In-Home Delivery of new unit.  Standard delivery refers to first floor deliveries for buildings or residences without elevator access.
  2. Removal of an existing, disconnected unit on a one-for-one basis.  Boxes will be cut and placed for disposal or removed at the customer's discretion.  See salesperson for details.
  3. Standard installation of electrical appliances to existing outlets.  Installation refers to washers and electric dryers (not stackable - not frontloading), freestanding electric ranges and refrigerators connected to existing standard outlet (excluding refrigerator water water hookup).  We DO INSTALL THE ANTI-TIP BRACKET ON FREESTANDING RANGES FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

The following may apply to your delivery:

Removal of the old unit will not be done if it has grease build up, oil, or pests of any type.  We cannot remove products which contained, or have contained, hazardous wastes of any type.  We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by removal of old appliances.

We reserve the right not to attempt any delivery that will cause damage to property or injury to our delivery personnel.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

  1. Specific days have been designated for your area.  Your purchase will be delivered only on the days specified for your town.
  2. For purchases over 45 days old, please call at least 10 days before delivery so that we can assure the availability of your products.
  3. Within 24 hours of your delivery date, you will be notified of an approximate delivery time.
  4. We require a 48 hour notice of any changes to your sales orders prior to delivery.
  5. Payment for products must be made before delivery.  You may pay by Master Card, Visa or Discover, or mail us a personal or certified check.
  6. The customer must allow safe access to the site.  All obstacles must be cleared before delivery.  All walkways must be clear of snow & ice.  Construction sites must be safe for equipment delivery men to pass.
  7. The customer, or an agent authorized by the customer, use sign for all products.  Products will NOT be left without a signature.

DAMAGES

Damages to product of delivery site MUST be noted on your invoice at the time of delivery.  All claims will be settled fairly.  ALL MERCHANDISE MUST BE UNCRATED AND INSPECTED UPON DELIVERY.  PLEASE INSPECT YOUR PRODUCTS THOROUGHLY.  DAMAGE CLAIMS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AFTER THE TIME OF DELIVERY.

REDELIVERIES

Should a customer not be home to accept a scheduled delivery, a $45.00 redelivery fee will be assessed.  PLEASE BE HOME.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

The customer is responsible for all hardwired connections.  This includes gas lines, built-in electrical, as well as icemaker connections.  We cannot be deemed responsible for any PRE-EXISTING, old or faulty connections.  It is the customer's SOLE responsibility to measure any doorways, hallways, or stairwells.  We cannot alter or change any doors, trims or moldings to your home or common areas.  Merchandise that does not fit in your home may be returned for a 15% restocking fee and a $49.00 redelivery fee.  Please be advised that product dimensions do change every 1-3 years.  Please measure carefully.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be issued on all stock items prior to delivery or pickup.  Refunds will be issued by crediting the card on which you paid, or by check.  Checks are issued Monday through Friday, from 9am - 5pm.  Due to bank delays, checks will be issued 14 days from original purchase.
